CBI is a nationally recognized organization providing quality trainings, facilitation, consultancy and other services to individuals and organizations working for the development of Myanmar. - ♡
Who We Are
A group of young, intelligent, experienced and energetic people with good educational records from Universities belongs to CBI. Besides, they are also receiving capacity and skill training and workshops continuously from famous institutions and individuals inside and outside of the country. They all share the core value of “quality” and “accountability”. We are altogether 30 people dedicating towards the capacity development of Myanmar Citizens working in the social and development sector.
About CBI
The concept of CBI was started early 90s when pioneers of INGOs such as Save the Children (UK & US) and World Vision came into Myanmar. These organizations initiated together with UNICEF a program to build and enhance skills and knowledge of Myanmar who worked with them." alt=" The concept of CBI was started early 90s when pioneers of INGOs such as Save the Children (UK & US) and World Vision came into Myanmar. These organizations initiated together with UNICEF a program to build and enhance skills and knowledge of Myanmar who worked with them. The program was called “Myanmar Developed Resource Program” and provided trainings and workshops to Myanmar staff between 1998 to 2000. After evaluating that program, it was agreed and decided to continue the program as a project and they selected the name of a project “Capacity Building Initiative” and the project was launched in early 2001.
